Tree Tops is an independently owned hotel set in 5 acres of picturesque wooded ground in the beautiful town of Formby, between Liverpool & Southport. With 11 delightful Lodges and a restaurant renowned in the area, the hotel offers a truly individual experience. This was originally the dower house to Formby Hall and was acquired by the Winsland family in 1982. Situated between Liverpool and Southport, it is adjacent to Formby Hall Golf Club and there are 10 more championship golf courses in the vicinity. The family run establishment extends a warm welcome whatever time of day. The area is known as England's golfing capital, boasting many major tournament venues. But of course there's more to Formby than just golf! If you'd prefer to take in some of the natural beauty of the area, Formby beach is close to the hotel, as is Formby point, an area bustling with wildlife. This large area of beach, sand dunes and pine woods is part of the National Trust owned nature reserve, with one of Britain's last thriving colonies of Red Squirrels. If the golf has got you in the mood for more sport the area can cater for your needs a highlight being the Woodvale Rally.
